Alpine Crate started with a simple observation.

Most people only know the Switzerland exported to the world.

The clichés
The commercial “Swissness”.

But beyond that lies another Switzerland

A quieter one.

Traditions, regional differences, adaptations to harsh conditions, ways of life shaped by mountains, climate and centuries of local culture.

That shaped Switzerland. Only a few understand that without them, there would be no:

Swiss cheese Swiss Watch, Swiss Chocolatte,  Swiss Guards, and many other things Switzerland is now famous for.

Switzerland has always been different - somethimes willingly so, more often however because there was no other choice.

Our goal is simple but takes time…

Let’s grab our red and square crate and start a journey through the Alps.
